AFROBEATS SPECIAL - F.I.T. Jam Dance Session

A welcoming and inclusive general level ballet class for people who want to extend their dance knowledge.

Each class will begin at the barre with footwork, plies, foot stretching and strengthening, adage etc. which will prepare the body for work in the centre. 

We will then work away from the barre with port de bras and tendu before travelling across the floor with pirouettes. 

Completing the class will be grande allegro and a cool down stretch. 

This is a very supportive and methodical class with lots of technical pointers to help you progress. I always encourage a fun, no pressure environment.

Mambo Con Son is not your typical Salsa class.

Salsa music is rich and complex, with its own heartbeat known as the clave. 

Our teaching methods will help you establish a strong foundation by connecting music and dance while having fun. 

You'll explore the movements and rhythms that make up salsa, including Son, Cha Cha Cha, and Mambo. 

Our classes run in four-week cycles.

During this course you will learn footwork and partnerwork. We will work on body isolations, body movement, improving your basics as well as working on more complex moves and combinations, working on technique, drilling, build dancing confidence and working on social dancing skills...and also have some fun :)

The class is broken in  footwork/ body movement/ solo technique and  partnerwork.

The aim of the course is to give you tools to enjoy the dancing and express yourself on the dancefloor.
