Curve Catwalk - All Skill Levels - with Sharna Lou

A welcoming and inclusive general level ballet class for people who want to extend their dance knowledge.

Each class will begin at the barre with footwork, plies, foot stretching and strengthening, adage etc. which will prepare the body for work in the centre. 

We will then work away from the barre with port de bras and tendu before travelling across the floor with pirouettes. 

Completing the class will be grande allegro and a cool down stretch. 

This is a very supportive and methodical class with lots of technical pointers to help you progress. I always encourage a fun, no pressure environment.

Mambo Con Son is not your typical Salsa class.

Salsa music is rich and complex, with its own heartbeat known as the clave. 

Our teaching methods will help you establish a strong foundation by connecting music and dance while having fun. 

You'll explore the movements and rhythms that make up salsa, including Son, Cha Cha Cha, and Mambo. 

Our classes run in four-week cycles.

Come as you are, train with purpose, and get down!

We are excited to welcome you to our new class which aims to support you to find and maintain balance in your life.

Each week we will structure the sessions to support developing balance in our body, breath and mind.
• Asana practice – to support physical strength, flexibility, balance and co-ordination.
• Pranayama - breathing techniques that help to lift, calm and balance the nervous system.
• Meditation - meditative practices that can support being mindful in the present.
• Reflection - Each week we will end with a reflection which relates to aspects of yoga philosophy and ethical living.

In our Salsa improvers solo footwork course you will progress on the basic steps and moves. You will learn new turn patterns and cross body lead combinations.

This is a progressive course and your knowledge and progression will be built from week to week (6 week course)

There will be plenty of drilling to make you comfortable and confident with the steps and moves you are to learn.

And on top of that you may even have some fun...after all dancing is about fun :)

This course is suitable for all genders, no partner necessary.
